Not Me 02/15

Good Morning and Happy President's Day!

I hope everyone had a good week full of perfect moments...nothing that would make it to the Not Me board.

On to my unconfessional...

I most definitely did not let my kids have brownies for breakfast Friday morning!  Who would do such a thing?  Not me.  If I did I certainly wouldn't justify it by saying that they are no worse than donuts.

After suffering through a HUGE box of Huggies that continually leaked I did not switch to Luvs...this probably sounds extremely stuck up and snobby but Luvs just seem.... well, cheap.  Everytime I change S now I certainly don't sing the commercial, "Live and learn, then get Luvs".  After 2 days no leaks though!  Sooo needless to say I guess sometimes cheaper is better.  Sidenote:  I loved Huggies until about a month ago when for some reason he started leaking all the time!  I went up a size hoping that was the problem but nope!

I have not gone 2+ months since waxing my eyebrows!  NEVER would I let myself go like that!

My house is still not a wreck.  I mean really if I quit my job to stay home with my baby and tend house one would assume it would look a little better than the train wreck that it resembles.

I am not sending my very last Christmas present out today.  It is not finally happening because I need to send a card to the same house.  Sorry Ariel for Christmas gloves that will be reaching you in AZ with lovely 75 degree weather.  I hope your hands don't grow this year!

Now where is that Not My Spouse picture when I need it???

My darling husband would never give S a HUGE pile of paper and mail to play with while we were cleaning up the computer space and house. This did not lead to more than a dozen papercuts all over his hands.  I know awful right?!  Seriously Chris felt terrible and so did I!  I can't even believe I confessing to this one!  Well, Sawyer had a lot, like A LOT of them and got blood all over his hands, face and even the carpet.  Luckily all but 1 stopped bleeding quickly.  One required his first bandaid :(  Did I mention he didn't even cry?

Now, what DIDN'T you do??

That's so sad about the band aid. I remember when Xavier got his first papercut. It was the exact same thing. His dad gave him some mail to play with and he did the same thing. I guess you never realize that paper isn't harmless...

The bandaid thing made me sad- my youngest had a bandaid wrapped around her foot at only a few days old due to a heel prick and it made me really sad.

And what is wrong with brownies for breakfast?! ;)

Happy Monday!

LOL. I love Huggies, though, I like the luvs swaddlers.

My daughter turned 2 at the end of January. We ordered a huge Princess and the Frog cake and ended up eating that for breakfast for over a week. Hey, at least it had raspberry filling. Fruit group. LOL.

Okay seriously, we might be related. I've fed my kids brownies for breakfast. I'm a stay-at-home mom and my house is a wreck on a regular basis. And... Believe it or not, my niece's birthday gift is still waiting to be sent. The sad thing is, her birthday was in November!!! I know, I'm hanging my head. lol
I hope you'll stop by my blog and take a look at my Not Me! Monday post about my family's latest obsession: Band Hero.

Scotti, just bring over a batch of brownies and I can guarantee they will be gone quick. I love chocolate. You kids are adorable. I went back through your blog and it reminded me how much I enjoyed my kids when they were babies. They are teenagers now but they still act like babies at time. Hope you have a great week!

God Bless You!
