Ahhh the joy of always having Not Me's to supply....

I did not go to Ikea on Saturday...with a 15 month old...bad plan. He did not scream at least half the time we were there. We were there for over 2 hours. I did not want to crawl in the cart and cry with him.

My house is not a total scum hole. I have not been saying I will clean my bathroom tomorrow....for months. Yes, I know that is gross! It's just the one bathroom that doesn't seem to get cleaned. Maybe I should do it first?

I do not STILL have green nail polish on my thumb...it is not a joke at this point.

I needed $200 to reach my shiny new laptop goal....until Pointe shoes and Ikea. Now I need $999.99 plus tax. Oohh so pretty! 

You will be mine!  Before November, you will be mine!  Anyone want to buy my kidney??

I still do not have 3 fingernails painted that I confessed to last week. A normal person would have gotten up after writing that post and taken the nail color off! Especially when it is hot pink, lavender and neon green!

I did not forget to feed my little man dinner last night. Well, not really forget but didn't realize how late it was. He did nap until 5:30 which totally threw me off!

I have not stayed up until at least 1am every night for the last week. My husband is not feeling neglected these days. Sorry love, I'll be back really soon....I promise!

I am not still behind on blogging my personal stuff, including but not limited to our vacation where I got a ton of cute pictures and videos!

I did not record my sweet son falling asleep while eating. Nope, not me. A nice mom would have immediately cleaned him up and put him to bed...not ran for the camera to record the moment.

PS While waiting 12 years for that video to upload to YouTube I did manage to organize a memory cards worth of pictures!  Maybe I'll get vacation posted before next Monday!  Yeah probably Not Me :)

I did not have cereal for dinner...twice in the last week.

I did not have the wonderful experience of calling poison control after Sawyer got into my prenatal vitamins. Nope, my child is not that mischievous and I would never keep my pills on a counter that he apparently could reach.

Hello, hello! Yes, it's been a few weeks since I have confessed my sins... but don't you worry there were plenty in there! A few that stick out well...

I did not slam my daughter's fingers in the car door! Nope, not me! I pay very close attention to what is going on around me...especially if a child may be climbing out of the car.

My sweet little boy has not pissed on the floor 2 days in a row! Well, technically yesterday he went in the bath but cut it short when he noticed something was going on and he grabbed his baby parts! Yeah little man...that will cut it short! Then tonight I took off his diaper so he could run to the tub and he decided to pee on the baby gate first. I mean, wait, no none of that happened!

I did not spend most of the past week in pj's and braless....nope, not me! I get ready every single day!

I have not been crocheting compulsively for weeks! No way....that might give the impression that I am starting to think I will have ZERO "me" time after this baby is born.

I am not behind on my personal blogging. I definitely still don't have our vacation pictures to post! Jeez I suck!

My baby girl is not starting middle school today...yep...6th grade! I can't believe it!

I am fairly certain I could go on for pages and pages of things that I haven't done over the last 2 weeks. I'll try to keep it reasonable for you though!

I did not let Sawyer empty an entire box of Ziploc bags simply because he FINALLY wasn't whining. He has been super whiney since we got home and the quiet I had for 15 minutes was totally worth it.

A good portion of my packed stuff from vacation is not still packed. I did not just wash the smelly wet stuff and leave the clean stuff packed for going on 5 days. Nope not me.

I have not been on retirement from crochet for too long. In the last 2 weeks I have probably crocheted maybe 2 hours total. Not acceptable.

I did not completely lose my cool in a restaurant that led to me banging on the managers door and proceeding to tell her what a shithole the place and service were....with 3 kids in tow. Yeah, not one of my finer moments but man I was pissed! I am fairly certain Karly and her friend thought I may kill someone.

My son did not get into a dead rotting bucket of bait spilling it all over himself and squishing the shrimp and squid in total delight. While I was cleaning up this disgusting putrid mess he did not get into a can of tobacco (not ours) spilling it all over himself and the floor. Nope, not my son. He is never mischievous.

I am not behind as usual on my laundry. It is not piled up in more than one room. What I have done is not folded and sitting on the back of the couch and table waiting patiently to be put away. If it were there it would be just for an hour or so...not the whole weekend!

I do not have 3 crochet items I need to get made in the next day or so along with a few baby gifts to be sewn. I did not have time the last 2 days to work on them and just blow it all off.

I did not put together a Things I Like Thursday blog last week only to forget to hit publish. After realizing my oops on Friday I did not just decide to save it for this Thursday ;)

I did not eat Fritos and a can of bean dip for dinner one night last week. That would not be a healthy well balanced meal for the fetus or myself. (PS it was delicious; the insane heartburn was totally worth it)

I am not running my first pattern presale right now! It doesn't end today so I definitely am not encouraging you to order yours if you are interested. It will be on Etsy in a week or 2 if you'd rather wait.

I did not vacuum under my couch cushions yesterday for the first time in forever...like since we got them in October! Ok, I did clean out under them a few times when they were all brand new and shiny promising myself I would do it regularly only to abandon that promise after the first few times. It was not super disgusting! I did not promise I will be better...again...only to probably fail again.

I have not been super busy with my crocheting. I am trying to get as many new items together as possible before this little one comes knowing how much time an 11 year old, 17 month old and infant take up! Due to this super busy status I have not slacked on cooking dinner...really, really badly. I need new quick and easy recipes stat!

I have not slacked on my blog lately. I am not promising to do better...or maybe I am promising? Yes, yes I am promising to do better.

I did not HAVE to have a new camera...only to have hardly even used it. This is my goal too...learn something new on this every week.

My son did not decide to hop into his sister's bath...fully clothed and diapered. That's my water loving boy!

Not Me

I did not spend hours over the course of 3 days cleaning my craft/laundry room and neglect the rest of the house...severely. I still do not have what appears to be 10 loads of laundry waiting for me.

I did not eat a king size Hersheys and a roll of Shocktarts...the same night. Nope that is a total fatty move, I would NEVER do such a thing!

My son did not crap in the tub when I was already running behind. I was not getting ready and watching him through the mirror and unable to see the bottom of the tub. Karly did not say "what is he playing with...oh my gosh its a turd!!!!" I did not yank him from the tub and proceed to fish the turds out with a cup. Turd in cup I rotate around to dump it in the toilet only to find my sweet 1 year old naked and happily using his fishing pole to fish in the toilet. Awesome. I did not contemplate snapping a picture before pulling him and the pole away from the toilet.

The same said son did not spill my entire cup of coffee in my keyboard and husband's computer controller. I would never leave my cup of coffee setting out hours into the day. If I did I still wouldn't be bitter that all my keys are sticking and the both items will need to be replaced ASAP!

I was NOT a total slacker yesterday. Especially when my house and backyard are in post birthday party chaos! Nope, I would definitely have cleaned it up following the party!

I am NOT totally obsessed with getting Sawyer involved in infant swimming resource classes. I do not think I will cry through every class but know in my heart it's a great program. I am not looking into getting certified myself so other families in my area won't have to drive 100 miles each way, 5 days a week for a month. If you don't want to know more don't watch the video below :) AP parents beware...it really isn't easy to watch.

I did not release a super cute frog hat pattern. It is not being modeled by my daughter and therefore a little snug since I made it to fit my son :) I do not need to get this to Ciara Hammonds Photography for good pics ASAP!!! Not Me Monday

I would never stay up too late resulting in being super tired when Sawyer was ready to get up. This would not force me to put him in his play pen so I could sleep for 45 more minutes. This did not happen this morning.

I have not neglected crocheting (other than custom orders) for 2+ weeks! This is my job, my livelihood. I would not let a dry spell last so long! Where is my creativity these days? I must come up with a few new patterns!

I did not let my daughter sleep with her tv on last night after telling her it was time to turn it off more than 30 minutes before. It was not midnight at this point. I did not let her turn it back on because listening to her cry about a ghost for those 30 minutes almost made me insane. Nope, I always stick to my word.

I did not get nervous when I left my son with my husband for a few hours the other night. I mean really, it's his dad, everything will be ok. Sawyer and I being together all day every day definitely isn't making me even more of a spazzy mom. No way.

I have not been sick and worthless for the better part of a week :(

I did not consider skipping grocery shopping so I could buy a kick ass Little Tykes playground for Sawyer. Nope, I would never put a toy ahead of my family starving to death.

I am not just a little bummed school is out...for...3...months!

I did not between eat almost half of a watermelon...by myself. Nope, not me!

I am not in teetering denial and melt down over my baby turning 1 tomorrow! Seriously? ONE? ALREADY?!?! I not the crazy lady that cries on every single birthday. I hate birthdays. Why can't we all just stay the way we are?

I did not dream of delicious, ice clinky, salt rimmed, fresh lime juiced margaritas the other night. Nope, I would never be such a lush! Oh man what I wouldn't give for one right now!

mmmmm.....seriously drooling on the keyboard right about now!

I did not spend 6+ hours Saturday night attempting to fix my blog after COMPLETELY screwing it up! Damn you html!

After cleaning house really REALLY well last week and promising to keep up with it I would NEVER ever drop the ball...again.

I did not fail to pay attention to a submission time and have it hit me the night before! This would not lead to a massive rushed feeling while getting THIS tutorial together. I did not then go back and double check the submission time only to realize it was the next day at NOON!

I did not neglect small child while putting together tutorial. If I did I definitely wouldn't have found this lovely mess. Ahhh what a small boy can get into in just a few short minutes ;)

I did not curse like a sailor throughout Gray's Anatomy. Literally...for 2 hours....Holy Shit, Holy Shit, Holy Shit!!!! Intense I tell ya'!

Good Morning all! Hope everyone has had a great week and are ready for another!

I did not FINALLY clean my bathroom after too many weeks, months of putting it off. Seriously, remember me talking about this weeks ago? Yeah just finally did it. Sad part, it took me less than 15 minutes.

I did not clean my house pretty well yesterday with the intentions of being one of those, keep up daily with it people. I really need to get on top of this. I stay home all day and even if I cleaned for 30 or 45 minutes a day my house would be a zillion times more acceptable.

I do NOT get insanely irritated when people leave their garage sale signs up well after their garage sale has been held. Sure it's obnoxious if you are actually garage selling. Searching for the sale that you don't know actually happened 2 weeks ago. My problem: I just can't stand looking at those trashy signs for weeks on end. I am not tempted to collect them and go hammer them in the yard of the address provided!

I did not finally plant my flowers yesterday. They most definitely had not been sitting in those sad plastic containers for over a week.

Wow, either I was really good this week, or I am living in denial and can't remember anything...maybe I'll just have to quit Not Me Monday since I am so good :)

Onto the good stuff...

My son has not made a habit of crawling from the couch to the side table where he gets stuck pretty much every time. I did not let him cry while I grabbed my camera to snap a picture of this. (no babies were harmed in the making of this post. I did take him off the table only for him to crawl right back over)

Sawyer has also not found his new favorite toy....the toilet! Apparently toilets are just as amazing as bath tubs and pools. I chose to snag him from the toilet immediately as opposed to grabbing the camera first!

Almost every day I do not run out the door for school run not wearing a bra. I mean seriously?

How long does it take to put one on? I don't worry the entire drive if I get pulled over or have to get out of the car. This does not lead to not wearing a bra for the majority of the day. I mean if my boobs looked like this it would be just fine!

I do not have flowers and sprouted seedlings waiting to be transplanted to their permanent homes. I definitely haven't been procrastinating these for over a week! That's just ridiculous.

I was not the designated driver for a wedding Saturday night (remember I am pregalicious). If I were the dd and sober (truly was) I would for sure be able to drive better than the drunk people! Driving my husband's truck...which I don't do very often, being tired and slightly dehydrated wouldn't make me such a bad driver that we had to get a hotel so Chris could drive us home the next day. O'well, better safe than sorry!

This week was full of Not Me's...now of course I can't remember the majority of them! I really need to jot them down as I go!

and because this was just too much of a "are you serious?" moment...a Not My Husband entry this week! My husband HAS NOT opened 5, yes FIVE bottles of the exact same flavor of bbq sauce. My guess; he opens the fridge, glances for 1.3 seconds doesn't see it, so he grabs a new one. This does not take into consideration the half a dozen other variations of bbq sauce in the fridge as well :)

and if you haven't tried this bbq sauce....do it!  It's amazing!

I did not spend hours dreaming of and drooling over a purchase that I really, REALLY want but is out of my budget. I am not saving my pennies for said purchase. I do not get online daily to look at it while drooling on the keyboard.

I did not neglect crochet the majority of this week. For some reason I am really struggling wrapping these few things up that really need to get done. They can't sell if they aren't listed!

I did not lose my cool with my 11 year old...on more than one occasion. I really need to figure out a way to get this situation under control and resolved. This is what my laundry room looked like AFTER she finally cleaned her room. Of course I had just finished the laundry and had asked her a million times to bring me her clothes. Needless to say walking into ALL OF THIS pretty much sent me over the edge.

My nerves were not so frazzled Thursday that I asked hubby to hold down the fort so I could escape for a few hours. I did not then decide against going because I didn't feel like getting ready and felt guilty ditching a whiney baby and pissy tween on him after working 12 hours a day.

I do not get annoyed every Monday that MckMama posts later than me. Silly I know, BUT my coffee blog time from about 8-9 I appreciate when the world revolves around me ;) so when she hasn't posted by then it throws me off! Then I have to check out more blogs later which may or may not lead to me getting sucked into new blogs I find through the link up and spending all of afternoon nap cruising blogs.

Confession time...

I most certainly did NOT catch my child eating the dogs bone! If I did I certainly wouldn't grab the camera for a little video action. I of course wouldn't give the bone back to the dog knowing the boy would be willing to do battle for it again. Nope, NOT me!

That would be gross!

I did not garden my little fingers to the bone off and on for the last 2 weeks! I definitely wouldn't have ripped out a few bushes and lots of weeds to turn a flower bed into more garden space. I also don't have little sprouts popping up from my garden! Woo Hoo!

I have not been a snappy hormonal biatch. Never would I let my nerves, hormones, and emotions get the best of me! 
Thank goodness my family still loves me...or at least they pretend too ;)
