CELEBRATE!! 1000 SALES!

1000 SALES!!!

Can you believe it? I hardly can! I started Inner Hooker in October of 09 in a desperate attempt to find something I could not only succeed at but enjoy while ultimately being able to quit my job someday!! I have loved, LOVED, LOVED every minute of this adventure. I am truly so extremely blessed and fortunate that this all came to fruition. I have great dreams and hopes for her to continue to grow! It's such an amazing chance to share my inspirations with all of you. Without all of you Inner Hooker would not be possible. Without all of you I would still be working an 8 to 5 desk job and miserable that my baby was in day care. I am truly living my dream...even if it's still in its early phase! A million times over, thank you all so very much.

Now for the fun good stuff you stopped by for! As promised I am doing a giveaway to celebrate! I took a quick poll on facebook and people love free patterns so that's what we are doing! A lot of people also voiced that they prefer just one way to enter so again, that's what we are going to do! By the People, For the People ;) ha ha! Flashbacks to 1st grade social studies! Back to the task at hand!

I am not going to give a specific number of winners. Here's the deal. I will give away 10% of the entries. If 100 people enter, I will give away 10 free patterns!!! If 150 enter, 15 free patterns, you get the idea! That gives you pretty great odds of winning!!!

I will use random.org to pick the winners.

Contest closes Monday April 19 at 5pm Texas time! (I should really find out if that is Central or Mountain or whatever time) Winners will be announced Tuesday morning!

To enter simply tell me your favorite Hooker item and an item you would like to see carried in the store. That's it! Please only post once. Only one comment will be counted.

Now, let's get busy! Don't forget to spread the word! Invite your friends to enter!

Good Luck!

I love all of your patterns, but the beanie with the brim is my very favorite! I would love for you to do a pattern for little stuffed animals. I have seen them around a little and have always wanted to try one! THANKS!

I think what you are doing is great. I am a stay at home mom who wants to being in a little extra to help. And I am SO jealous that you are able to come up with these patterns! I can copy anything, but I have a hard time coming up with them on my own. Kudos to you! My favorite is your bunny ear beanie.

My current favorite (it changes every time I visit your shop!) is the stocking cap. I would love to see the patterns for the flowers offered on their own; so adorable and girly, they make me sad I had a son. ;)

I have two favorites, my first is the beanie with the scallops and the other is the beanie with the brim...love them. I have made them is soooo many different colours and sizes!
I like to see some adult hats that are just as cute but not so youngish!!!!
Thanks for everything you have done and congrats!!!

I absolutely love all of your patterns, so this is a difficult choice, but I have to say that I love the Bunny Ear Beanie the most. I just think that would be so stinkin' cute on a baby! :) I'm currently making all four of the hat patterns I have purchased from you as christening gifts and I would love to have the bunny hat to add to my collection. Another item I would like to see you sell would definitely be an owl hat. I've seen some pretty adorable ones and I would love to have a pattern for them.

They are all so precious but the baby skunk is just one that makes me smile every time I see it!

Ok...as everyone else has said very hard choice. I love the spring bloom beanie, but I really want to try the brimmed hat. I think you should carry more hat and daiper cover combos...so cute and I love how cute they are in pictures. Maybe a piggy set with a curly tail on the daiper cover.

Congratulations on your 1000th sale! I love all your patterns, especially the animal beanies. My favorite right now is the stocking beanie. I'd like to see some type of matching animal sets....maybe a beanie, booties and small plushy.

I love all of your patterns!! I guess if I had to choose a favorite I would say the cocoon pod. I would love to see more photo props - maybe some more cocoons. Keep up the great work! And congrats on your 1000th sale!

I SO love your pattersns, especially the hats! Although I do love the legwarmers, but then, I'm partial. The model is my grandbaby! Little 'A' is going to have a little brother or sister and I'd love to make a whole wardrobe of hats for the new baby!

I love your ruffle beanie pattern! Not sure if you have a cute frilly sweater pattern but would love one of those!

Lacey said...

Congrats! I love all your patterns but my absolute favorite would have to be the cocoon/pod for pictures. I just made one for a local photographer. I wish you had something that fully swaddled the baby with a little hood type thing also for baby pictures.

What you've accomplished is great. I really appreciate how reasonable your prices are. My favorite right now is the earflap beanie---though I suspect it will soon become the leg warmers.

I would love to see a pattern for crocheted "longies"---the pants used as diaper covers for cloth diaper users. I would buy that in a hot minute!

I love the Whoville Pixie hat, and all the little animal hats, too! I would love to see a "dog" hat...maybe a dalmation! My husband is a firefighter, and my twins LOVE anything related to that!

I love the Newsboy Brim Beanie Crochet PDF Pattern w/ flower.

Something I would like to see is maybe just something more summer-y... I love the Newsboy Brim Beanies because they can be used more year around, but maybe some other spring things, like flowers for headbands or something.

My favorite one to make so far has been the mouse ears. I had to make a set for myself! *lol*

I am the wife of a US soldier and we are stationed overseas. I started a charity called Project Portrait and I take photos of military babies who are born while the dad is deployed. I go to the hospital and take the photos before the baby is 24 hours old and then send them via a web album to the dad who is in Iraq or Afghanistan so he can see his newborn right away.

I love your pixie hats and your cacoons because they would add such a great little oomph to the photos and really give the mom and dad something to ooh and ahh over during those times before they can be together as a family again.
