Thought of the day Thursday

Two things I would like to see:

A) Healthier drive thru selections. I promise not all Americans want to be fat asses. Unfortunately most Americans are super busy and take the easy option too often. (raising my hand) If I could drive through and get a good tasting and healthy salad, sandwich, soup, etc…I would be all for it!

B) Drive thru post office. This seriously would be so amazingly fabulous and is totally doable! Can anyone open a post office??? hmmm….things to think about!

I do realize I sound like a lazy bum with 2 requests for drive up service…I wasn’t this way before. Hauling a 20 pound baby in a 20 pound car seat while juggling my mail and delicious McDonalds fries is no easy feat :)

Wanna Make it Wednesday

A lot of the blogs I follow seem to all have a few things in common. They post often, I prefer daily or every other day. I know that is demanding and a lot to expect so I just follow 2 dozen blogs so I know I'll always have plenty of new stuff to read! I love reading blogs! Lame? Maybe. O'well, it's me. Another thing I think is fun is having a topic or trend for the day. For example Make It Yourself Monday, Thrifty Thursday, or something like that. Those that follow blogs know what I am talking about.

I love blogging and sharing as much as possible! My life doesn't always allow for daily devotions but I do like to squeeze in a few each week when possible. I decided it was time for me to present myself as so many of the blogs I love. I will be posting more often, yes still plenty of blogs on my beautiful babies and my wonderful life but also links to other great blogs, recipes, fun stuff to do, things I want to share and tell you how bad I want, etc... Today is Wednesday and I happened to find a few things I really, really HAVE to make! OK I may not need but I really wanna make them... so we are going to call Wednesday...Wanna Make it Wednesday. Clever right? I mean aside from the hideous destruction of the English language with such slang.

A few weeks back I posted this amazing holiday star! I love it sooo very much! I already purchased everything so no excuses! It must happen this weekend!


I also found these 2 things today that I am desperate to make for this holiday season!

Advent Christmas Tree I bought fabric to make a wall hanging calendar and now I may have to find a new purpose for that fabric. I adore this tree! I need it STAT!


love these thrifty cute candy jars too! So adorable and all 3 for under $20...love that!

Now...just to find the time to make these...Saturday evening sounds pretty good to me!

Baby Giggles

Is there anything better than the sound of baby giggles? I mean seriously it makes just about everyone smile! Not quite sure why Karly laid him on the hard marble table but it doesn't seem to be bothering him! These 2 gorgeous babies of mine sure do love each other!

Shake It!

My little dancer...always dancin! I am not too sure Sawyer is totally digging the Miley but he clearly is loving his sister dancing for him! Karly is obsessed with learning dances off youtube I always love to see what random thing she is doing next! I guess Miley is a much better choice than some of the others out there!

More tub time fun

Bath time is definitely a favorite time for most babies! Sawyer has just about outgrown his baby tub. He is too long but doesn't sit up very well yet so the ring tub makes me a bit nervous! It is on my list of to get soon things though. I can't wait to see how wild he gets in that! Here are a few clips of him the other night. I love when he uses his feet to lift the cup...cracks me up every time! Can you believe he is already almost 6 months old? Seriously. Makes me sad.

Day 30

I am thankful for my thankful month. While I didn't post every single day I can honestly say I did stop and think every single day about how much I have to be thankful for. It's always a nice reminder of just how blessed I am.

Now...on to the hustle and bustle of Christmas!

Day 29

I am thankful for sales! I am thankful for supportive family and friends. Sooo I am on my 3rd, yes third etsy store. Yes I know that seems a little flaky. The first one I decided I didn't like the name anymore. The second one...well, I sold a handful of things but it seemed like everyone always wanted it....they wanted it in another size! Grrrr...I am all for custom made things but for me to profit there is no way I could make 1 or 2 things a week. Not to mention the stress of trying to finish on time!

Seeing so many cute hats and needing a portable hobby led me to store #3 Inner Hooker. Come on you know its a clever name! Anyways this is definitely the thing to sell for me. Patterns. I only have to make as many of something as I enjoy and others can make their own....and I can profit a little from it. If you haven't checked it out yet head on over!

5 weeks in and 40 sales...not too shabby! Now if I can get about 10 a day I'll be super stoked! I had another blog email me asking if they could feature me...pretty fun! I also am going to be on a fairly legit blog next month...unfortunately this one I had to pay for but still...it has 2500 followers! Hope it brings some business!
