Baby Shower Extravaganza Begins!!!!
If you have no idea what I am talking about check yesterday's blog post HERE.
My most favorite size and shaped burp cloths! These are hand made by myself. I have never been a fan of the typical baby stuff....animals on everything, cuddly cartoon animals on everything, and Winnie the Pooh. These are flannel on both sides and a little thinner making them perfect for those babies that don't puke a ton. This was my most favorite style of burp cloth last time.
Monster trucks on one side and a vibrant green on the other!?!? Hello, all boy here! No teddy bears and puppy dogs on these! You'll get 4 burp cloths for your little man or to share with someone else.

I just may be doing something similar in a day or two for those little princesses out there...hint, hint!
We've been using the gerber cloth diapers as burp rags. We like them bc they're big and absorbent.

ReplyDeleteMy fav burp cloth is something made of terry or flannel or bamboo. OR my shirt, heck my shirt works, or the nearest blanket, sock or whatever is in the clean clothes pile. Because when its coming up, its coming up and its NOT going away!

I do not have any children but I have worked in the infant room of a daycare and my favorite burp rags were the kind that were super soft and didn't chafe the baby's skin if you had to wipe a lot, not sure what they are called. They also are shaped to fit around the mother's neck so that they don't slip to easily :)

I used whatever people gave me as burp cloths with my first, who is 19 months and look forward to see what you are making, may be a copier and do some for this new little boy on the way.

When DD was born I used to use a kitchen towel as a burp cloth. I think these would work great for this time around since I'll be out and about more with this little one!
